Abstract

In the first chapter, the researchers talked about the role that scientific progress plays with regard to mental abilities and basic skills in the game of football, which is one of the games with basic principles that depend in its pillars on the use of modern teaching methods according to the studied scientific method in all physical, psychological and skill aspects, and this in turn It is the best way to raise the level and achieve the desired goals, as its development will have a positive return to the fans in general and to the followers and specialists in particular, which increases the insistence to study some aspects of attention and its relationship accurately to the most important basic skills of football players.

  The study aimed to find a relationship between some aspects of attention and the accuracy of some basic skills of soccer players. Identifying the correlation between some aspects of attention and its relationship to the accuracy of the most important basic skills of football players.

  The researchers used the descriptive approach due to its suitability to the nature of the problem to be solved. As for the research sample, they chose the intentional method, and they are the players of Al-Qasim Sports Club, and their number was (35) players. The fourth chapter included the presentation, analysis and discussion of the results.
