Through the experience of researchers, one of whom is a current handball coach and teacher and a former player, they discovered the phenomenon of coaches choosing their players randomly using self-assessments and avoiding objective tests when selecting new players in specialized handball schools in the Middle Euphrates governorates. Rather, coaches choose players based on their personal experiences and self-assessment, not objective assessment based on reliable scientific foundations. One of the main objectives is to determine the typical levels and grades of motor and mental determinants for players in specialized handball schools in the Middle Euphrates governorates aged 12-14 years, and to build a model to evaluate the most important mental and motor skills as a criterion for selecting players for specialized handball programs in the Middle Euphrates governorates aged 12-14 years. Standard comparative studies and the survey method (current status) were used with the descriptive method, as a method of evaluation and interpretation that can be relied upon when evaluating players in specialized handball schools aged (12-14) years in the Middle Euphrates governorates. One of the most important conclusions was setting standards and determining the standard levels for indicators of the most important motor and mental determinants. One of the most important recommendations is to use standardized tests that measure indicators of motor determinants as objective methods to measure and evaluate the determinants of players in specialized handball schools in the Middle Euphrates governorates, aged between 12-14 years.
