The effect of an educational approach using various aids to teach students the skill of serving in tennis

Abstract

Tennis is a game characterized by activity, vitality, speed and strength. Reaching the highest levels in this game requires the use of all sciences related to performance to raise the level of physical fitness of the player in order to develop and advance the game at the international and Arab levels that it has reached recently through the use of technology of sports equipment and tools and educational aids in sports fields. Hence, the importance of the study lies in finding the best aids in educational units that help in the process of teaching the skill of serving to third-year students, which it is believed that these aids will give good results and reach the correct skill performance and avoid technical errors. The problem of the study: The researchers decided to use some diverse educational aids that contribute to correcting the motor paths of the serve stroke and reducing time during the limited period of the learning process. The most important goals were to identify the effect of the educational curriculum with diverse aids for teaching serving to students in tennis. The researchers adopted the experimental method by designing the experimental and control groups and measuring before and after to measure the variables. A sample of (24) students was chosen from them using a simple random method (lottery method) to represent the study sample. The sample was divided into two groups, a control and an experimental group, and in each group (12) students. Thus, the study is: The sample percentage (35%) of the study community. The most important conclusions were the use of an educational curriculum with various aids used in the study to teach the tennis serve skill to students. The most important recommendations for the educational curriculum with various aids had a positive effect on developing the accuracy of the tennis serve for students in the experimental group.
