Abstract

Abstract:

Studying the relationship between offensive performance, psychological integration, and emotional determinants among football players, especially those of Naft Al-Wasat Club, is of great importance in the sports field. It is not limited to interpreting the psychological state of the players, but extends to providing practical indicators that help in developing training and psychological programs, thus contributing to raising the level of performance and achieving the best results in competitions. Looking at the players of Naft Al-Wasat Club, it is observed that some of them face difficulties in controlling these emotional determinants, which may be reflected in the quality of offensive performance. Hence, the research problem is defined by the following question: What is the relationship between offensive performance, psychological integration, and emotional determinants among football players in Naft Al-Wasat Club? This study examines the relationship between offensive performance, psychological integration, and emotional determinants to determine the extent to which psychological readiness is linked to the effectiveness of offensive performance on the field. The researchers adopted the descriptive method as it is the most suitable for the nature of the research problem, as this method allows for studying the phenomenon as it is in reality and observing the reciprocal relationships between the variables associated with it. The descriptive method is also distinguished by its ability to provide an accurate picture of trends, desires, and developments within the sports community. Thus, this method is considered an effective tool for achieving the study's objectives and interpreting the results in a scientific and objective manner. Therefore, the study sample was chosen from the population represented by the players of Naft Al-Wasat Club for the 2025/2026 season. The players were selected purposively, as they comprised specific elements that accurately represented the community. The club under study had 24 players. The researchers reached the following key conclusions: the results showed that the offensive performance of Naft Al-Wasat players is positively correlated with both psychological integration and emotional determinants. This confirms that psychological and emotional aspects are fundamental factors in enhancing offensive effectiveness. The recommendations emphasize the necessity of integrating psychological and emotional preparation programs into training plans, alongside physical and technical training, to ensure higher levels of offensive performance
