Using artificial intelligence (AI) programs is both easy and difficult. Those who have used them find them easy to use, while those who haven't find them complex and beyond their comprehension. This creates a gap between users and non-users, highlighting the problem of widespread lack of awareness regarding the usefulness of AI programs in physical education and sports science. Therefore, the researcher decided to develop and standardize a mental simulation scale. The study aimed to develop and standardize a mental simulation scale for physical education and sports science using AI programs. The researcher employed the appropriate methodology for this problem: a descriptive survey approach. The current research population consists of male and female students in the Colleges of Physical Education and Sports Science in Baghdad's Al-Jadriya district, totaling 215 individuals. The research sample was selected purposively.
The sample for developing the mental simulation scale for physical education and sports science using AI programs comprised 100 individuals. Additionally, a pilot sample of 15 individuals was used, and the standardization sample consisted of 100 individuals. The conclusions were: the ability of the mental simulation scale for physical education and sports science using artificial intelligence programs; the clarity of the problem in that mental simulation for physical education and sports science using artificial intelligence programs increases participants' learning in using artificial intelligence programs; the scale's ability to describe mental simulation using artificial intelligence programs; and the need to identify and utilize modern programs more broadly for the programmatic promotion of digital media. The recommendations were: to implement the mental simulation scale for physical education and sports science using artificial intelligence programs, as it is now ready for generalization of the results; to focus on clients and meet their requirements in terms of developing programs that are relevant to public opinion, modern, and objective; and to understand the community and how to formulate a suitable script or scenario that the artificial intelligence program can understand, synthesize, convert into video, and simulate appropriately.
