The importance of this study lies in employing special exercises according to Reigeluth’s model to organize the educational content of volleyball, with the aim of developing attention and improving the performance level of the skills of setting and smashing among students, and in a way that contributes to raising the efficiency of the educational process and achieving its educational and skill-based goals. Based on this, the need arises to adopt a modern educational model that contributes to organizing the teaching content in a gradual and effective manner. Reigeluth's model is considered one of the models that allows for clearer and more engaging learning, through educational units that contribute to developing attention and improving students' performance in the skills of setting and spiking. To identify the effect of specific exercises according to Reigeluth's model on developing attention in volleyball students, the researchers chose the experimental method as it is appropriate to the nature of the problem. The number of participants was (24) students, and they were divided into two equivalent groups: experimental and control, with (12) students in each group. The most important conclusion is that the exercises designed according to Reigeluth's model contributed to enhancing attention in the experimental group members better compared to the control group, which relied on the traditional exercises presented by the teacher. The most important recommendation is to adopt educational units based on Reigeluth's model in teaching basic volleyball skills to third-year students in the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and its departments, as it is an effective educational method.
