The official pages of Algerian clubs and the extent of their commitment to electronic publishing ethics - The official page of the El-khroub Association on Facebook as an example -

Abstract

This study aims to know the extent to which the official pages of Algerian clubs adhere to the ethics of electronic publishing. The El khroub Association team’s page on Facebook was chosen as a model in this study for several considerations, most notably the presence of the same media cell crew that has been running the page for years and which includes journalists. The study also aims to find out if Were the official pages of the Algerian clubs following the same approach as the pages of the international clubs, which were concerned only with the sporting aspect, or were they led behind the pages of the supporters, many of which strayed from the path of righteousness and began to spread hatred and fanaticism among the people of the same nation?

This study relied on the descriptive survey method, using content analysis, and the purposive sample was selected by analyzing all the publications on the official page of the El el khroub Association since the team began preparations for the new sports season 2023/2024.

The study concluded that the official page of the El khroub Association team adheres to the ethics of electronic publishing and is concerned only with the sporting aspect and stays away from all the negative phenomena found on many unofficial pages belonging to the clubs’ supporters and fans.
