Domains of health education and the degree to which they are observed in physical and sports education curricula for secondary education from the point of view of subject teachers

Abstract

Health education is an important part of the educational process through which health awareness
is raised by providing the learner with information and experiences with the aim of influencing his
knowledge, attitudes and behavior and acquiring healthy healthy habits. By the guardianship bodies, and in
order to know this, we designed a questionnaire that was distributed to 15 teachers of physical education
and sports in the secondary phase, who were selected in a simple random way. After presenting, analyzing and discussing the results of the study, we reached the following results4
- The curriculum of physical education and sports does not at all contain objectives that serve the concepts
of health awareness.
- The interest of the physical education and sports curriculum in the physical care of students within the
physical education and sports class.
-The physical education and sports curriculum takes into account health risks during the physical
education and sports class.
