Abstract

The objectives of the study were determined to compare a group of individuals with diabetes who practice and do not practice types of recreational sports activities who attend some endocrine and diabetes clinics in the city of M’sila, in addition to revealing statistical differences among the sample members with diabetes who practice and do not practice recreational activities according to a variable. Type of disease (Type 1 - Type 2) and variable blood sugar level for three months, HbA1C (hemoglobin glyquée) This study is descriptive, based on a comparative approach for older people with diabetes who practice and do not practice recreational sports activities. The sample number reached 120 individuals, including 60 practicing individuals and 60 non-practicing individuals, and data was collected via a questionnaire The results concluded as follows: There are statistically significant differences between those who practice and non-practitioners of recreational sports activities depending on the type of disease variable and the blood sugar reserve variable in favor of the practitioners
