Abstract

This study aims to highlight the extent need of the Algerian Football teams to the services of a sports psychologist for the psychological preparation process, it is, considered the focus of the training for raising the level of performance and developing the players' abilities and capabilities, the study sample included 60 players belonging to the Algerian Football teams of the senior category and they were chosen intentionally.

The researcher used the descriptive approach through a questionnaire Tool to collect data and information. The study findings showed that the players wanted to benefit from the services of psychologist, so, the researcher recommended the necessity of forming experts in this field to invest a psychological energy and direct it to reach the highest level of achievement.
