The results obtained show that most adolescent youth in secondary school are directed to sports media in its various forms – audio, print, or visual – in order to obtain information and news about competitive and exhibition sports or to follow the news of stars. This is due to what they find in these media, which is due to their purely commercial nature, with the exception of some public media, which has caused them to be absent from these important topics, such as providing young people with topics about physical fitness and health and motivating them to practice sports with educational and health dimensions, in line with the cultural dimensions of society. These results suggest that the content of sports media is concerned only with news and entertainment topics and is absent from scientific topics and the latest results and studies that are useful to the individual, especially in light of the growing phenomenon of chronic diseases and social ills. Here we note the need to pay attention to these topics, especially for adolescent youth, who are characterized by a sensitive growth period that makes them very concerned about their bodies. The role of the media lies in instilling a culture of practicing healthy, educational, and recreational sports activities that ensure the physical, psychological, and even mental health of the individual.
