The purpose of the study is to highlight the relationship of some of the characteristics of the personality of the teacher of physical and sports with the level of his teaching practices during the secondary education stage and to reveal the extent to which these features affect the teacher 's pedagogical performance both in positive and negative way. In this study, the researcher relied on a sample of 90 teachers of physical and sports education in the secondary phase of the area of Bejaia, who were distributed over 34 secondary schools. The researcher used the interrelatedness method. The study tool was represented in a measurement of personality characteristics and a questionnaire that represents educational practices. The researcher concluded that the positive characteristics of the teacher, which bear responsibility and the characteristic of self-confidence and emotional balance, have a positive effect on the educational practices while introversion characteristics have a negative impact on educational practices in general and on pedagogical performance in particul
