Abstract

This study aimed to identify the effect of using guided discovery on learning basic motor skills in a physical education and sports lesson. The experimental method was used on a random sample of 50 students of the first year in the intermediate stage, and the T-test was used to process the data statistically, while the following results were reached: There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental group members in learning basic motor skills in a lesson Physical and sports education before and after applying the guided discovery method - there are no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the control group members in learning basic motor skills in the physical education and sports lesson before and after applying the guided discovery method
