Abstract

The Algerian family is witnessing profound transformations today as a result of the changes brought about by contemporary life on all political, social, conomic and cultural levels ... However, the occurrence of these transformations took place with many problems such as family disintegration, the multiplicity of models of social upbringing, and the emergence of new behavior patterns. This is what made the family facing great challenges in keeping pace with these transformations in order to achieve the quality of family life, maintain its structure and perform its functions in the best way, through its adherence to the cultural heritage and its transmission between generations, and creating a kind of balance between the cultural heritage and developments. That touched all aspects of life, and avoiding exposure to contradictory social norms and values, but several dimensions interfere in order to achieve this goal, including the social and demographic dimension, which includes several indicators, the most important of which are: family interaction, social relationships, social standing, participation Social affairs in various life situations, family planning ... So we ask the following question: What is the impact of the social dimension on the quality of family life?
