Abstract

Countries aspiring to development and progress in the current era are working to overcome all problems that may hinder their development path by using all available means, whether material or moral. In order to achieve this strategic goal, it always seeks to develop society from all political, social and economic aspects. This research paper focuses on the role of political will in the development of Algerian society, and an attempt to reveal that the previously existing imbalances in the field of the development process are the result of the absence of a real political will seeking to reform society and the economy on realistic foundations and keep pace with developments taking place nationally and globally. Therefore, this study comes to analyze and discuss the idea that achieving societal development in Algeria currently requires the availability of a real "political will" from which the development process starts and is the source of meaningful change, and the cornerstone on which the elements of success are built in the present and future of the state
