Abstract

My study in this research paper revolves around the most important and most dangerous problem that the Islamic nation has suffered since the death of the prophet, peace be upon him, to which is the problem of the Imamate. Although most Islamic sects agree on the obligation of the Imamate, they differ on whether is it obligated on the servants of God or on God? Then, they differed on the path through which we realize the necessity of the imam, the qualities that he must possess, and the position he occupies in comparison to the Prophet, in particular.
