Abstract

Through this article, we seek to shed light on the contribution of Chadli bin Jadid to the Algerian revolution through his memoirs tagged "Chedli bin Jadid's Memoirs, Features and Life" issued in 2011 by Dar Al Kasbah Publishing, edited by Abdelaziz Boubakir and covering the period 1929-1979, It dealt with the first part, which deals with his life and childhood, and the reasons for his political and military path during the revolution.

We will try to stand on the revolutionary work in the eastern base and the northern region, and what his memoirs added of historical material related to the revolution in general and the eastern base in particular.

It highlighted the most important battles he fought and his contribution to organizing and framing the region until his injury, and highlighted his positions on the events and vicissitudes of the revolution at the local and national levels.
