The Question of the borders between Algeria and Tunisia and their effect on commercial activity in the17AD and 18AD centuries

The conflict on borders regarded the main aspect that govern the relationship between the state of Algeria and Tunisia. Most of historians proved that this relationship was not clearly neither politically nor geographically. This situation promoted the rulers of both states to expand their influence on the borders, despite the 1614 treaty and its amendment in the 1628 AD, the conflict remain and the tribes spread on the borders further. The conflict reflected the dynamic of trade between the states and led to destabilization and resulted to unsecurity on the tread roads and spread of robbery. It also contributed to raising the prices of imported goods on the both states
