Abstract

Bessarion was defeated, was forced to return back to Italy (1440), where he stayed for ever. The Cardinal Bessarion, didn’t hesitate to infiltrate himself with the latin humanists, it’s due to his work those people were able to discover a considerable part of the greek classic heritage. The aspects have elaborated and detailed in one of my previous study. In fact, Bessarion played a role of a legal pontifical, the most actif and prefered, from 1450 til his death on 1472. He called the supreme masters of the West to enter under the sovereinty of the pope to led a great war with a wide dimensions against the Ottomans, but he faild.
