During the French occupation of the region touat (1900-1962), a group of prominent figures emerged, reviving intellectual, scientific, and literary movements while resisting French plans. Among them was the Islamic jurisprudent Sheikh Mohammed Abdel Karim Al-balbali (died in 1955), a scientist, reformer, and writer called the flowing pen for the flow of his literary works. We tried through this research paper to introduce him and shed light on his role in the scientific and reformist fields, exploring some of his lasting impacts and unveiling his position on societal issues, including the French presence and its resolution
