Abstract

The Egyptian media assistance to the Arab Maghreb fights, and particularly to Tunisian ones, is a high jump through which Tunisia was able to continue fighting. The frequency of assistance had been rapidly risen as far as Tunisian people encountered difficulties were risen due to the heinous acts of the French colonization, as far as the famine of 1947 was concerned, from one side. and the enlargement Tunisian national movement from the other side. However, the Egyptian newspapers did not save any effort to broadcast Tunisian people suffer from those deep problems that constituted a threaten to the realized success for the sake of independence. Under the shadow of this status, the present paper chases the echoes of famine issue within different Egyptian newspapers and the way they dealt with it.
