Abstract

This research provides a historical analysis of the habous inscription of Sultan Abu Al-haҫen Al-Marini(737-749AH/1337-1346AD)on his wakfs institutions in Al-Aubbad village from Tlemcen(mosque, school) Due to its importance, which is reflected in its information, such as: the prisoner’s name, property’s type, writing methodology to the text. Which reflects the Tlemcen’s civilized level in many fields, like urbanization and economy, especially as it is contemporary to the event.The research’s aim is to extract the historical value to the inscription, and to clarify its contribution to the Tlemcen history’s, and for this we used the fikh and the historical approach.  

  It has been concluded that the inscription is an important document in writing the Tlemcen’s history, the historian must be used it always, nor other archaeological sources in his reacherches.
