Religious Positions for Algerian Scholars in Morocco during the 19th Century

In this article, we will highlight examples of Algerian scholars who migrated to Morocco during the 19th century AD. We will focus on those who held important positions in fields such as teaching, judiciary, issuing fatwas, and official rhetoric, and who were relied upon by the sultans of Morocco due to their extensive knowledge in Islamic sciences and jurisprudence, as well as their great acceptance among the people. These scholars became well-known in cities like Fez and Marrakech, among these prominent scholars are Sheikh Abdelkader ibn Mohammad al-Rashidi, Mohammad ibn Mohammad al-Mashrefi, and others
