Abstract

The hisbah system is considered as one of the pivotal systems in Islam, which aims to promote religious and ethical values while regulating social behavior. This system is based on the principle of enjoining good and forbidding evil, which giving it a comprehensive dimension that touches various aspects of daily life. This study seeks to conduct a thorough analysis of the hisbah system, with a focus on the multifaceted role played by the muhtasib in Islamic societies It also highlights the importance of health oversight as a crucial element in maintaining community health and well-being, particularly in the Islamic West.
