he Zaouias in Algeria and their influences through foreign writings during the 19 th century

Abstract

In this article entitled « Zaouias in Algeria and their influences through foreign writings during the 19 th century », I will first give the definition of the phenomenon « Zaouias » then , I will clarify their socio-political and socio-religious influences. My study aims in to know the historical readings of historians of these religious establishments. Ultimately, the writings and hypotheses posed by them aimed to enrich and extend the colonial capitalist economic project in Algeria.
