Abstract

Surely the central place of the “philanthropic action” in the Islamic heritage corpus seduces the researcher to seek senses behind texts with its entourage of explanations and interpretations, to achieve what the population reality gives as preoccupations and problems in the written historical events. As a result, this article aims at deepening the sight of the social activity in a certain period, taken as a criterion for a historical comparative study, to follow “the philanthropic action” as well as its causes without forgetting its utility and effectiveness and the evaluation of the realisation of its declared objectives. More, the researcher chose to carry his approach in a dialectic context, comparing between the governmental organisms and the popular institutions in fulfilling “the philanthropic action”, trying, as long as the historical narration permits it, to grasp the possible commons points like the expected differences, between two sides on whose harmony and complementarities the peace and stability of society rely.  The research does not propose final results but rather focuses on the importance of accompanying History in its profound and static systems, for discovering goals of texts and attaining God’s law in horizons and souls.
