Abstract

The Battle of Sétif (548AH) between the armies of the Almohads and the Arab tribes marked the Arab tribes’ from the method of road bandts and the possession of space to repentance, stability and the orientation towards practicing some economic such as agriculture, for example. The Almohad state was able, through its policy , to control the Banu Hilal tribal groups , so it tried to integrate them by adopting a policy of involving them in jihad projects against the Christians and using them to pass the ruling project to Bani Abd al-Mumin .It also resettled some tribes, such as Rayah and Jisham, in the Maghreb AL-Aqsa, which led to the weakening and disintegration of these tribes, starting the rise of the state of Bani Marin and the complete collapse of the Almohads ( 668 AH) , the Marinids declared war on the Arab tribes, then what was directed by the two famous military campaigns, the compaign of Sultan Abi Al-Hassan in the 748 AH and his son after him, Sultan Abi Anan in the year 758 AH.   Though Historiography portrayed these campaigns in the form of securing the pilgrimage route and disciplining tribes that contravene the authority, as the result was dire that ultimately led to the storming of all stability for the Arab tribes and their returning to banditry practices.
