An In this research, we try to shed light on the biography and debates of Abu Uthman Saeed bin al-Haddad al- Kairouani, who was one of the leading figures in the Islamic West in the third AH / ninth century CE. The research starts by the definition of Imam ibn Al-Haddad's personality, from his upbringing, education and his writings, to the investigation of his jurisprudential doctrine. Then, it focuses more specifically on the most important debates he conducted against his opponents of heresy makers and the deviant tendencies of his time; the strong and purposeful arguments in repelling the suspicions of his opponents, made his debates famous in the Maghreb.
