When studying the subject of Greek migrations, we find that divination and prophecy are closely related to this topic in the ancient Greek world, and we find that the Oracle (the temple of revelation) often played an important role in directing migrations or changing their course, especially with the eighth century BC when the most prominent impulse was For the Greek migrations to the outside world in the period of major colonialism towards the West, and for the blessing of the gods in preparing for an emigration and taking the opinion of the Delphi priests as a condition to be done by the immigrants until their migration was completed, Divination and prophecy were the most prominent religious ritual and guarantor of the success of migration, and the establishment of settlements there .
