This research paper addresses a topic that falls within the scope of Algerian society's issues during the colonial era. Specifically, it examines the Social issues of the Algerian people through the newspaper Al-Iqdam, published by Emir Khaled (1919-1923). It focuses on tracking articles related to this aspect and analyzing their content to understand the newspaper's role in addressing the problems of Algerian Muslims and proposing appropriate solutions to improve their conditions. Given the newspaper's diverse coverage and diverse content, it occupied a significant position among the popular masses and became the primary spokesperson for young Algerians, expressing their views and demands. This was particularly true given its focus on presenting the pain and suffering of Algerian Muslims, boldly criticizing the French administration, exposing the policies of European settlers toward them, and denouncing their traitorous agents who agreed to serve the enemy at the expense of their own people.
