Abstract

Most of the regions in the central Sahara have been subjected to many by studies by researchers and specialists in the field of prehistory, but at the same time we do not see the necessary attention to the Tadraret region of Acacus despite its distinguished cultural heritage and its civilized role that gives an asset in the history of the desert societies at that time.Most of the specialists agree that the Tadrart-Acacus region was a place of stability for the human elements, and they are believed to be the garamantes ancestors who settled the Central Sahara (Algeria and Libya today) and left many civilizational appearances, despite the lack of writing in that period, but we were able by rock art to describe the general reality of that. Society in the Tadrart region of Acacus during the period of moderate climate, and this was reflected in a focus on daily life that provides sustenance and the necessities of living, as they were able to innovate in their civilizational cultures in various economic, social and religious aspects.
