Achievements and bearings of the governor the wali Ahmed Rassim Pasha in Tripoli state 1881-1896

Abstract

This study deals “treat’s” an important period from the history of the Tripoli (Libya), and it is the reign of the wali Ahmed Rassmi Pasha (1881-1896), because it is a distinguished period compared with previons governors or who came after him at the head of this state. In terms of extremely difficult international and regional  circumstances  that surrounded the Ottoman  Empire ,and it’s Arab states, especially  Tripoli .Or in the time of nearly sixteen years of his conduct, or in the  reforms he has under taken in many sectors such as “ like” education, health, agriculture and construction , in addition to his Politicial skill to treating many Problems  and issues also he imposed the security and the  stability of the Ottoman  authority throughout the state, and he was working  to confront the policies of European colonial penetration to it. especially France and Italy.
