Abstract

Through this study, we aim to shed light on the role of equipment expenditures in promoting economic growth in Algeria, with a focus on the development programs adopted by Algeria. We relied on the descriptive analytical approach to analyze various data related to equipment expenditures and the economic growth rate.

The study concluded that equipment expenditures had a positive impact on economic growth, but this is not sufficient, as the rate of economic growth has become dependent on the size of spending, and the latter is directly related to fluctuations in oil prices. This makes the rise or fall in the rate of economic growth in Algeria an inevitable result of fluctuations in oil prices.
