E-learning management to face the Corona crisis advantages and disadvantages

Abstract

The Corona crisis has raised great concern among university institutions due to the closure of their doors, to reduce the spread of the virus, which made the majority of these institutions turn towards e-learning and activate it to support the educational process in spite of all E-learning requirements like the existence of systems to manage it, which is the most important component of e-learning. This study aimed to investigate the advantages and disadvantages of these systems in the higher education sector, given that e-learning does not exist without the existence of these systems that universities sought to provide The study concluded that e-learning needs an infrastructure of devices and equipments, as well as the necessity of proposing training courses to develop teachers and students’ skills to deal with the Internet, and the mandatory development of a guide explaining how to access learning management systems.
