Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of artificial intelligence technologies in promoting good governance principles within the sports management sector, by highlighting the extent to which these technologies contribute to improving transparency, effectiveness, and accountability within public sports institutions, with a focus on the Directorate of Youth and Sports of the Laghouat Province as a field model. The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach, while the research tools were a questionnaire directed to the directorate’s employees. The results showed that the integration of artificial intelligence tools such as data analysis systems, performance prediction and decision support systems can effectively contribute to improving the quality of decision-making. Reducing administrative corruption and rationalizing human and financial resources. The study also highlighted some challenges associated with the implementation of artificial intelligence, such as weak digital infrastructure, a lack of specialized training, and the absence of a clear digital strategy
