Abstract

he sports content industry is undergoing a radical transformation with increasing reliance on
generative artificial intelligence technologies in the production and dissemination of media
content. This research explores the complex intersection between traditional ethical obligations
and emerging challenges arising from AI applications through the analysis of real-world
international models and cases. The study employs a systematic review of recent literature
(2022–2025) alongside an in-depth analysis of practical cases from global media organizations
such as the Associated Press, ESPN, The Washington Post, and Olympic Broadcasting Services
(OBS), in addition to experiences from the Paris 2024 Olympics and the FIFA World Cup. The
results reveal significant diversity in institutional approaches to managing ethical dilemmas,
while identifying best practices and lessons learned from international experiences. The research
concludes that success in achieving a balance between technological innovation and ethical
responsibility requires clear governance frameworks, continuous training, and full transparency
with the public
