Abstract

This study examined the effect of tactical sequences on developing composite offensive skills (rebounding and shooting) in elite basketball players. Using an experimental design, a sample of(10) players from Al-Nasiriya Sports Club (2026/2027 season) was randomly divided into experimental and control groups. The training intervention spanned (12)weeks, comprising) 36(sessions (3 per week) with intensities of 70% to 90% simulate match conditions. Statistical analysis via SPSS indicated significant improvements in post-test results for both groups, with the experimental group significantly outperforming the control group. The findings suggest that tactical sequences optimize training efficiency and skill fluidity by bridging the gap between isolated practice and competitive gameplay
