Analyzing Skill Performance Variations and their Correlation with Neuromuscular Coordination in Junior Soccer Players: (A Case Study of Al-Rasheed SC, Under-17, Taiz City

This study aimed to examine the differences in skill performance and its relationship with neuromuscular coordination among junior football players at Al-Rasheed Sports Club under 17 years old in Taiz city. The researchers used the descriptive correlational method, and the sample consisted of 24 players aged between 14 and 17 years. Special tests were used to measure neuromuscular coordination , in addition to football skill tests including dribbling, juggling, shooting, passing, heading, and ball trapping. The findings revealed statistically significant differences between players with high and low levels of coordination in some skills such as juggling, shooting, and ball trapping, while no significant differences were found in other skills such as dribbling and heading accuracy. The study also showed significant correlations between neuromuscular coordination and certain basic football skills, highlighting . The study concluded that neuromuscular coordination training should be integrated into youth training programs to enhance reaction speed, bal-ance, and motor performance accuracy
