Abstract

The promotion of the tourist heritage in Constantine, the roles of the state and the citizen:

The riches offered by the tangible and intangible heritage existing in the territory of the Constantine region are invaluable. The sites that characterize this region with a historical legacy that traces 2,500 years of existence tell us about the passage of different civilizations. Prehistoric man, the Numidians, the Phoenicians, the Romans, the Ottomans, the French, ... each left traces (vestiges) of their passage and their settlement in the region. Without ignoring the attractiveness of the natural landscape that characterizes the "city of bridges", we would like to discuss in this paper the role of the different actors in the process of promoting local tourism. It will be a question of discussing global economic strategies, but also national and local identity, without ignoring the consciousness and culture of citizens as well as the actions carried out by local communities, tourism agencies and associations. .
