Abstract

In this research, I address some of the ijtihad issues in the jurisprudence of minorities. The aim is to demonstrate the status of Islamic law and its ability to address the nation's new developments and challenges throughout all eras, particularly with regard to the foundations of minority jurisprudence, the subject of this study. I seek to contribute to addressing many of the issues and developments that have befallen Muslim minorities in Western countries, which are closely related to the rules of ijtihad. Therefore, understanding the rules, principles, and other aspects, as well as defining concepts and understanding how to construct and implement rulings, so that they are consistent with and appropriate to the principles of sharia, is of paramount importance
